ANIMATED MOVIES

ANIMATED MOVIESToday’s generation of gamers have it easy. They’ve got dozens of gadgets at their fingertips and all the data they need to finish the games they play on these gizmos.
A lot of World of Warcraft gamers not only play the game, but in their spare time they make movies based on WoW. These movies may not be Oscar material, but over the years have entertained countless people

Novels that become movies check. Comic books that become movies check. Video games that become movies? Yes, there are a lot of them, but not all film adaptation of great video games turn out, great.

Take, for example, Street Fighter. The video game is excellent, spawning dozens of sequels and spinoffs, and thrilling every Tom, Dick, Harry and Jane to the core of their very being. Street Fighter has touched a cross section of generations and races. Ask the oldest person on the block about the game and chances are he or she has heard about Street Fighter … or Guile … or Ryu … or Ken. In the same light, ask the kid down the street about the game, and he or she will tell you about the latest addition to the growing family of the game, Street Fighter IV.

On the other end of the scale, we have Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and the upcoming Max Payne movie. Now these are adaptations. No pulling punches, plenty of blood, gore and limbs flying around.Mega Man games are hard enough as it is. … I don’t know how many different ways my brain would expire if I contemplated completing two Mega Man games at once.

Graphics and memory were good enough for 3D to work smoothly and perfectly and to be properly cartoony instead of seemingly composed of ugly carved wooden blocks, but memories of the 2D world of computer games passim were still strong. So there was a golden age of platforming, where the 2D platformer model was made to work in a 3D world, and the new third dimension represented a world of possibility - much as 2D computer games had bloomed and blossomed into a million strange forms, 3D games were just beginning to do the same thing.

The gaming industry will increase its presence on the Web and support 3D and interactive animations. Animations that use simulations will be used for training and education. A lot of focus will be on multi user interactions and 3D animations and on making the Web more and more interactive.

WHO KNEW A CLOCK COULD DO MORE THAN TELL TIME?

WHO KNEW A CLOCK COULD DO MORE THAN TELL TIME?Generally speaking, watch phones are rarely useful. Not so much because of lackluster hardware or incompatible drivers, but due to the fact that no one with any dignity will ever be caught wearing one.
We all know that watch phones can be pretty ugly, pretty big and just pure and simple useless, well it seems maybe those days are over because we have found a really decent looking one that even I would wear.

For a wristwatch to be considered truly geeky it should have one of two things - the ability to play audio and video or some kind of communication functionality (like a built-in cell phone). Well, you can definitely put a big bold check mark in the “yes” column for the Metallic Video Watch with OLED Screen. With a full color screen this watch displays video and images very nicely with a 128×128 pixel resolution.

The hardware and features on mobile phone watches are normally very good; it is just the styling and bulkiness of them that I hate. Anyway the pretty good looking CECT Wrist seems to have my eyes staring at it, the main features that stand out have to be the 1.3-megapixel camera, GSM connectivity, 1.3-inch color LCD, multimedia player, Bluetooth, FM radio tuner and a whopping 150 minutes worth of chatty time. The full specs are listed below.

As more and more people became fanatic watch consumers, many also started to develop watch collections. It’s just the same as jewelries collection. Watch collection can be an expensive hobby, depends on the type of watch you are looking for.

What really defines a good watch collection and why do people collect certain watches? Well, people buy watches for various reasons. Some buy watches because they love the look and style of a piece. Some buy because of the brand, some for the functionality that the watch provides .There is no right or wrong way to build a watch collection. The important thing is to develop a “collecting criteria” and adhere to it. The common perception of collecting anything is the notion that it will be worth more in the future than it is now. The reality is that very few timepieces will increase in value, some will, most won’t.

The topmost brands you can pick on are Bvlgari , Tag Heuer, Cartier, ebel watch among the other top brands they are carrying. Carry it of well and add a techsavvy image to your style.

THE MUSIC BOX

THE MUSIC BOXToday’s dudes eat, live and breathe music and so the technology gives what they want the devices, the range and you have a lot in market to choose from. Gramophone records were the primary medium used for commercial music reproduction for most of the 20th century.

B&W Zeppelin - the speakers your iPod® has been waiting for.
B&W, makers of the world’s best speakers, now make the world’s best way to listen to your iPod® or iPhone®. Zeppelin is an integrated iPod speaker system from Bowers & Wilkins, makers of the speakers that are used in recording studios around the world (including the Abbey Road studios). B&W creates technologies and systems that world-leading studios depend on and that find their way into even its most affordable speakers. Zeppelin will fill a room with crisp, deep, lifelike stereo sound, and deliver musical detail that you won’t believe your iPod could deliver. That’s because the two have so much in common: blissfully simple design and world-leading technologies that let you get the most out of your music.

We wonder when the uber-game developer Blizzard will actually do something about the Head Music Blizzard portable media player.

This generic model comes with the following:-

• 2.8″ 320 x 240 resolution display
• Home button for easy navigation
• Supports AVI, WMV, MPEG4, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, JPG, BMP and TXT file formats
• USB 2.0 connectivity
• Built-in FM tuner and recorder
• Two audio jacks
• 4GB internal memory

At least the presence of the two audio jacks makes it easy to share your music with somebody else without having to split the pair of ear buds.

Dell entering portable music player market
Dell is doing as they prepare themselves to re-enter the portable music player market despite past failures. Word has it that this new Dell player might see the light of day as early as September, and it will come pre-loaded with software and works with an online music service. According to sources, Dell claims to have a tighter level of integration this time round, and is currently developing a range of software for portable computers that makes music and movie transfer a snap with their new device.

Turntable as musical instrument? Think Thomas Edison designing the Mellotron, instead. Phono maker Vestax has fitted a new turntable with really elaborate pitch control. Press buttons, move a fader, or adjust a foot pedal, and you can change the speed to get specific musical pitches (with the fader or pedal, you can even bend notes). The confusing Japanese product page seems to suggest you should use a record with just one note on it, like strings, voice, or a sine wave.

The Motz music box is definitely different from all those other MP3 players available in the market, especially when you get to pack it inside other ordinary items such as cigarette boxes and the like. It comes in a tiny box that measures 28mm x 25mm x 18mm, carrying up to 256MB of music at any one time. Supported audio formats include MP3, Ogg, and WMA, complete with a 3-hour battery life. There is an earphone jack at the bottom, where you can plug in the USB adapter in order to transfer all your audio files over. Once done, just remove the USB adapter and plug in pair of earphones and you’re good to go. A joystick control is located on the flip side, and it sure looks pretty fragile.

Go ahead you guys and enjoy these fun and musical gizmos to your list of shopping with a pair of studs!!!

PHOTOGRAPHS -ONE CLICK AWAY

The first camcorders were created by companies such as JVC, Sony, and Kodak. These early models used an analog videotape to record material. This was based upon a unit that had magnetic tape in which the camcorder recorded video material.

PHOTOGRAPHS -ONE CLICK AWAYThere are basically three different types of cameras. They are point and shoot cameras, rangefinder cameras, and SLR (Single Lens Reflect) cameras. The point and shoot cameras are what you see most of the times with other people. These cameras are basically computed image capturing devices. Some of them actually have built-in zoom lens and do more things then typical point and shoot cameras. Infact, they not even called as cameras, because they use digital sensors not like the old point and shoot film cameras where the images are being embedded onto the film which sometimes you can still get very high quality pictures.

Being optimized for panoramic widescreen recording to give your movies that professional, cinematic touch, the brand of camcorders is optimized for true 16:9 high resolution video which is ideal for playback on wide television sets.

They are of course known for their easy handling and are perfect for capturing all of your life’s most precious moments, be it for beginners or advanced users alike, whilst making it easy to share your video with family and friends.

Canon camcorders are designed with advanced zoom and image stabilizer to guarantee each recording to be a perfect one every time. From a precision lens to the imaging chip and the super fast DIGIC DV processor, using these camcorders will certainly make your video’s stand out in the crowd. The newest generation of camcorders is high definition or HDD-based camcorders. These models usually have a non-removable hard disk drive.
The latest edition to camcorders list by cannon is-

1-Canon’s E1 Digital Camera is Shiny, Curvy, in Baby Pink and Blue
It’s no optical slouch though, despite its simple looks, with 10-megapixels, 4x optical zoom and optical image stabilization, macro mode, ISO80-1600 (with 3200 scene mode) and a 2.5-inch TFT display. It also takes AA batteries for convenience and weighs just 0.35-pounds.

2-Canon EOS 50D Official: 15-Megapixel Prosumer DSLR Is First With Digic 4 Processor
The 15-megapixel shooter is their first DSLR with the Digic 4 processor, which has a few new light-oriented tricks up its sleeve, like lens peripheral illumination correction—it corrects for light fall-off at the edges of the lens—and it can more auto magically brighten things, like pretty faces (and ugly ones, if you really want it to). Since you can crank the ISO speed up to 12,800—Canon’s highest yet—presumably its noise-reduction capabilities are formidable, especially since Nikon has succeeded in making noise the new battleground in prosumer and higher level DSLRs.

As technology changed so did the size of the camcorder. What used to weigh a few pounds and had to be held on the shoulder is now as small as a cell phone. There is definitely something there for everyone whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro to the world of film making, photography or for that matter the gadget world.

GADGET GURUS

GADGET GURUSNew gadgets are everywhere, there seems to be an insatiable demand for them, and an enormous supply of new gadgets for a hungry market. A lot of gee-whiz products come through the doors. And a lot of them make us yawn. But during the months, some toys had us sitting up, smiling and paying attention. The “Wow” factor. Let’s face it: a shiny new techno-toy is cool. From the latest plasma screen TV’s to slender, stylish mobile phones, a beautifully designed machine is sure to catch a guy’s attention. Many gadgets are designed to maximize the coolness appeal: electronic card shufflers for the card shark in your family; sleek Mp3 players and mobile phones that look good out on the town; computer speakers that look like contemporary sculpture. The “wow” factor is elusive, and it’s usually a combination of style and function. Believe it or not—they’re practical.

Gadgets let you do things you couldn’t do otherwise. A cutting-edge laptop can let you do everything from recording your own music to building your own e-commerce business. A feature-packed cell phone lets you check your email, play your favorite music, and even download a movie or television series in addition to keeping in touch with your friends. A well-made power tool lets you build anything from furniture to sailboats to motorcycles from the ground up. Guys love gadgets because they don’t just make our lives easier—they make impossible achievements commonplace. There are gizmos in market you will be excited about, ranging from the practical (surge protectors and hard drives) to the downright silly (a dancing robot).

The lately rather conventional lion-brand finally bares their teeth. Peugeot reveals first impressions of an angry stylized Gran Tourismo with hybrid technology. As for propulsion highly innovative hybrid architecture has been invented and built into an engine which should produce 313 horsepower whilst emitting 109 g/km of CO2 which is comparable to 4.7l with a conventional gasoline-engine car.

Piaget is a premiere for one of the most experienced watch manufactures. The quite huge 18-carat white gold case offers an enjoyable clear view on dozen of working gear trains still retaining an elegant ultra-thin appearance which forces some fascinating glimpses of the exquisite decorative work on this Calibre 838P movement.

The innovating heads of the British electronic company Pure unveiled the WiFi radio-enabled Evoke Flow. Alongside, the digital radio features FM, DAB and DAB+ and it even comes with its own web radio portal, the Pure Lounge. Not less mentionable is the design a combination of old-world fashion with modern sleek finishes.

Most camera phones are still more phone than camera, but every once in a while comes a welcome exception like LG’s new KC910. The touch-screen device has features that wouldn’t be out of place on a top-tier point-and-shoot: face detection and image stabilization, xenon flash, a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, and even 120 fps video capabilities.

Technological advances have made it possible for us to do things our ancestors never dreamed of. With everything we can do with gadgets, it’s hard not to love them—no matter who you are.

• The sound quality is exceedingly good.

LG KF600
Since the time iPhone launched its all-screen, one-button design, phone manufacturers the world over have been trying to remove as many buttons as they can from the handsets.

However, KF600 is a dynamic innovation that has integrated with itself a second screen as well. Here are some of its features:

Sick of Computer freeze-ups?

Sick of Computer freeze-ups?How many times has your pc machine suddenly stopped responding in the middle of an important project you’ve been working on?? Or just when you were typing the last sentence of an important mail? Or while almost reaching the last level of an interesting game? Many a times, I am sure. The mouse fails to work and the programs just don’t seem to shut down. This not only leaves us annoyed but also helpless at not being able to do anything in such situations. The most common option we are left with is the CTRL-ALT-DEL button or restarting it which again leaves us with the risk of losing all the data, if not saved. So where do we go and what do we do? Well, here are some strategies that can help us save these freeze-ups to a great extent!

Here you go!

Scan for viruses!
One of the major reasons of your computer freezing up could be because of a virus or some type of a spyware. You can track this if this your machine is showing this as a new phenomenon. These programs disturb your RAM, alter your registry, and cause other complications your system just cannot deal with. Hence it just crashes. What you need to have is a reliable anti-spyware and anti-virus program installed on your computer. Once installed, you can update them at regular intervals through the internet while some of them also come with automatic updates. It is also mandatory that you complete a full scan of your system at least once a week to ensure that there are no problems occurring again and again.

Other Programs should be kept minimized
Most often freeze ups occur because of the lack of RAM. The PC machine has a fixed amount of RAM available to operate and support various programs. However, each time you open a program, you are taking away part of this available memory from the RAM. So, when the entire memory is being used up, the computer has no choice but to just stop functioning. This is so because every extra amount of work that you are doing has no space left for its storage. Thus simply avoid running too many programs at a time! Some programs are highly drain the RAM, causing the freeze up easily when used with other softwares.

Maintenance on a routine basis
Computers machines are just like cars. They run the best when users keep a regular check on their machinery to fuel their efficiency on a daily basis. So some of the most important measures include defragmention of your hard drive and cleaning up your registry folders at regular intervals. Whenever you add information to your computer, it is stored on your hard drive. And when you keep doing that over a long period of time, data files get moved around and are often spread out from each other. This makes the program operate more slowly as it has to piece these files back together. Hence, defragmenting cleans up the hard drive and rearranges the files in its proper chronological order.

The tools to carry out these are easy-to-use and are widely available online.
