The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 is a flip opening Smartphone for the user who is always on travelling. The handset comes out with a casing of 101mm x 50mm x 17.5mm that makes it easy to hold in a single hand and carry in the jacket or coat pocket. The user can view information on the external screen without having to open the handset constantly. The external screen is a TFT LCD type screen that provides the user with an external colour screen for viewing information when the handset is in its flip closed position.
This handset from BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 has a stunning 2.6 Inch colour screen with a screen resolution of 128 pixels by 160 pixels. The internal screen provides the user to view high colour moving footage. This Smartphone from BlackBerry also has an easy to use navigation control along with a numeric keypad as well as a QWERTY keypad that allows the user to flip open the phone to enjoy a full QWERTY keyboard. The Pearl Flip 8220 comes with a keypad lock that ensures that the user does not accidentally select a feature or make a call when the handset in being carried or stored. It also has a built in wireless email service that allows the user to enjoy sending, receiving and storing email complete with document attachments on the Pearl Flip 8220. The SMS text message service option allows the user to create a message that contains text and symbols that could be sent to any SMS compatible contact in the user phone book.
This handset comes has one hundred and twenty eight megabytes of flash type memory that could be extended by inserting a MicroSD™ memory card. This Smartphone also supports Wi-Fi® technology. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 carries a USB cabled connection and a Bluetooth® A2DP wireless connection that allows the user to chose the connectivity option when connecting to other devices such as a printer, PDA, computer etc. It is an impressive handset that comes with impressive features to match its overall design.
