THE GAMING ZONE

THE GAMING ZONE

With all the debates between the proponents of the consoles versus the PC games, there is still at least one area where it is safe to say the PCs still dominate over the consoles and that is in the grand strategy games. The main reasons that PC’s still out power the consoles in the strategy gaming genre is that the consoles are built for fast action games the end in one sitting. The PC game is not dead, and for the enthusiast strategy game player it will be around for years to come.

Its fun when a video game kicks u off and makes you goes wow! When your eyes are amazed at what’s before you and you find yourself completely absorbed into a beautiful new world. Light, shadow, reflection, textures, transparency, cloud, water, gravity…the list goes on for varieties of visual representation and, when it’s all done well, an interactive game becomes truly immersive.

There is a new accessory to count on to allow you to play console games on your PC i.e. nifty little USB TV tuner from Adaptec Japan is designed specifically. The Game Bridge TV (AVC-1410) connects to your PC or laptop and lets you play, record and replay said games as well as watch standard TV. They may call it a game bridge, but we really know this is an “OEM USB TV-tuner dongle.” But anything to sell product, right?

Currently, the gaming consoles come with various user friendly features like joysticks, controllers, large size buttons etc. by which the gamers feel the ultimate thrill of playing games. The popular and best selling driving games are 18-Wheeler: American Pro Trucker, Crazy Taxi (series), he King of Route 66, Wreck less: The Yakuza Missions, Motor City Patrol, Driver (series), Emergency Mayhem, The Italian Job, Spy Hunter, Super Runabout: San Francisco Edition, T etc.

A believable exchange with timing, technique and decision-making being the winning traits and everything played out like an artful competition would be awe-inspiring. This must be a hefty challenge because I’ve never seen anything remotely like what’s playing though in my head, but one day it must surely happen.

Razer Pirahna, is one such headsets that bring in a personal gaming

Headsets

Today, headsets are very important in the construction of a reality-based world called gaming. Gaming, today has become very interpersonal as a result people have become very possessive about its features and accessories, sound being an important part. Today, while one is engaged in battle in a world of his own, his headset is as personal as the imaginative gun that he possesses. The Razer Pirahna, is one such headset that binds this space of real and virtual.

As for looks, this definitely is the coolest headset available today, with its sleek design ready to provide comfort, which I would not call excellent. But the most important thing that one looks for in a headset is the sound it produces the Razer Pirahna produces excellent sound, giving you a Dolby digital effect. So, when you hear a bullet shot in the game ‘Counter Strike’ it feels as if the bullet was actually fired at you and you are bound to react. As it is uni-directional, it was just as sensitive as it needed to be although there are minor changes that need to be made before it is optimized for gaming purposes. At $79.99, it is worth a buy, especially if you are into gaming and lots and lots of it.
