It is a touch screen phone with 3.2 inch display. The Omni is slim device with a metal rim running around its screen. However the rest of the body is made up of the plastic, which leaves no extraordinary impact on the phone’s design.

Below its screen there are two calling keys and an action key which can also act as the mouse pad for the optical mouse. The left panel has the USB cum charger slot .The right side has the volume key, which is key for menu cum task manager and shutter release key.

The 5.0- mega pixel camera with flash

on its back panel .The hand set looks very sophisticated and attractive .The phone’s touch interface is very influential ,quite similar to the I phone ,be it scrolling up or down or about viewing pictures .The home screen has a sidebar like the F480 and comes with Samsung ‘s Touch Wiz UI .This phone has a stylus .The Omni also comes with the a 5.0MEGAPIXEL camera with auto focus and flash and have features like shake control, cont-shot, mosaic and panoramic mode .It can enabled in detecting faces and smiles. Picture taken indoor are acceptable while the one taken outside are of great quality. Image editing features include flipping image left to right or upside down, rotating them and adding effects like sepia and grayscale. Moreover the brightness and contrast can also be set after clicking them.

The Samsung Omnia’s video is acceptable and have a highest resolution of 640 × 480.User can add effects like negative , sepia and swap while shooting the video. It is nice to know that videos can also be shot in slow motion it have a video editor, where user can morph videos and add elements like text , videos , and photographs to them, user can also create photo movies and storyboards.

The phone has a touch player and apart from DivX it supports XviD video format it can also be used as a digital frame speaking phone also has an FM radio. The sound is powerful and pleasing in the headset mode. It is great in the loud speaker mode as well .The phones FM radio has two bands. In the radio mode user can add up to six channels on the screen for quick access but the complete channel can be accessed through the menu.

APPLICATION
Samsung Omnia comes loaded with great applications setup .It has opera Mobile along with a Google launcher that gives direct access to the Gmail and Google maps. Shout , the online sharing application ,also comes with phone .The hand set has a smart reader for scanning cards and documents .This windows mobile device comes with office mobile , which lets user create and edit documents. In the absence of the keypad using stylus is the best shot even if you use the keyboard. However ,the phone has a multiple input methods .web browsing on the Omnia is a great experience due to large screen and opera mobile .setting up email is also .for internet connectivity ,the device have a inbuilt Wife receiver. It also comes with GPS capabilities .if you wish to navigate, route66 CD is available with the memory card and then installed. The phone also has a viewer along with applications for pod casting and an RSS reader.
