If your aim of purchasing a monitor is mere entertainment, then select a widescreen LCD monitor. These widescreen monitors will make the display more attractive.

Before you take the final decision regarding the selection, do a bit of research and do read several reviews on the models. This will help you in buying the best possible choice of LCD monitor.
