Logitech NEW G15 Gaming Keyboard- review
![]() |
The original Logitech G15 gaming keyboard was the gamers’ delight. The company has introduces the new version of Logitech G15 Gaming keyboard which bears many improved features as compared to the older version. The keyboard is as good as it is for gaming. It is compact, modern, stylish and above all, very handy!
The colors on the keyboard (silver and black) of the new G15 are same as the older version. If you found the older version too bulky, then this new G15 will surely be a turn on because of its light weight. The measurement of the new keyboard is 19.5 inches lengthwise and is 10.5 inches wide, almost 2 inches narrower than the original version. As a result, the new keyboard easily fits into many keyboard trays.
Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard has 18 programmable G keys. With a third the number of macro keys, it looks a little less crowded visually. The functionality is the same, though. You just pick a key and assign a keystroke, macro, or function (like opening your default web browser or email app). The keys offer a nice tactile feel and an audible click when pressed without feeling spongy. In addition, the new G15 uses a removable wrist rest that is a black plastic with a slight texture to it.
The new G15 comes with an LCD screen which is an addition. Several games are compatible with the LCD screen like Battlefield 2142 and some applications like Ventrilo. The LCD screen can show you the most important information for you. It can provide information about playing music, timer, a POP3 e-mail reader, clock and calendar and information about using memory.
In short, the keyboard is useful for you while playing or working. We hope that that the vast majority of gamers will be much happier with than the original G15 keyboard.
