Make the Washing Machine Odour-Free

Every washing machine user faces the problem of stinking smell coming up from time to time. The musty smells from washing machines come from clogging of laundry detergents and fabric softener. These chemicals stay inside the dark small openings, and let the fungus breed over the time causing stinking.
We are going to provide a few tips that will help you to remove the washing machine smell.
1. Apply white vinegar
This is an inexpensive method. A cup of white vinegar if applied inside the washing machine twice a week, the smell could be removed.
2. Use bleach
If applied a cup of bleach along with detergents, the washer will come out clean and smell-free. Use hot water to wash the detergent down the washing machine.
3. Leave washing cover open as it will let the machine dry in little time.
4. Use cleanser
Try lysol cleanser, oxi-clean or smelly washer cleaner. These cleaners will remove odours effectively. It contains chemicals that are powerful enough to get rid of any unwanted fungus growing inside the washer.
5. Borax
If mixed borax with the laundry detergent; it could act as a fungicide to remove the mildew odour. But take care that the washing machine cover and tray remains open after the washing to let the moisture dissipate.
6. Soda crystals
Soda crystals, also known as as Sodium carbonate decahydrate, is very effective as a degreaser. It acts as a removal agent for cleaning the washing machine. Dissolve a small cup of soda crystals in hot water and pour it with a long wash into the washer machine. This can remove the stinking of the washing machine.
