It is always important to clean your washing machine. Generally doubt arises on how much it is good and important. And in mot cases it is seen that users are a bit hesitant to clean up the gadget after usage resulting in making it dusty and trashy. But always keep in mind. It certainly is. The interiors of your washing machine are subjected to dirty water, mineral deposits, detergent deposits that would make it nasty. It becomes important to clean up the washing machine to keep it in tip-top condition. Like other consumer household gadgets including dishwashers, sinks and bathtubs, this too get dirty even though is meant to clean cloths. It may take no time for your washing machine to get dirty and becomes a mess. Even though most of the dirt and soil is washed out with the water, the dirt, soap residue and other unidentifiable grungy objects remain behind. Every time the cloth is washed, hard water and detergents get accumulated inside the tub, pump and hoses. This reduces the capacity of the machine to perform and could be abrasive to the garments and diapers. To avoid this embarrassing situation, always take a note to clean the washing machine.
To clean the washing machine, run a cycle of hot water along with two cups of vinegar or lemon juice to loosen up soap and grime. Then take up the fabric softener receptacle and get it soaked in hot water and detergent powder. Now clean the bleach dispenser with a spray cleaner. Never forget to clean the top rim of the wash bucket. It is here most of the dust gets accumulated. Now run the washer empty on a hot cycle again. Remember to check all your hoses for leaks while doing this. It is possible for the water to leak or burst. So take extra care on this.
