Comments Navigating through GPS
Remember the days, when we used to struggle with a paper man, hardly able to decipher it and struggling way more, in order to find a way to a new city in a new country? Gone are those days now, thanks to the cooler mapping tools available on the Internet.
Navigating through GPS is very easy. All you need to do is follow these four steps:
• First of all, find a safe location to set your GPS unit so that you have a clear view of it without hindering your view of the road.
• Go to the “settings” section on the GPS unit and set the volume on the GPS unit to a level so that you will be able to hear above road noise.
• Now, program the GPS unit by entering your destination. Start the car and start following directions. You may hear the word ‘confused’ from your GPS unit when it comes across roads that run very close to each other. During the course of your trip, you many also listen to the words like ‘recalculating’ many times. You need not panic! At the end of the trip, you will find that your GPS unit is sending you the correct way.
• Once you have reached your destination, switch off your GPS unit and store it in a safe place.
